General Practitioner

Dr. Chris Ogwu

Dr Ogwu graduated from a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1988. He qualified as a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Nigeria in 1996 and practiced in both Mission and Public Hospitals in Nigeria.

Dr Ogwu moved to Australia in 2006 and has practiced at various hospitals throughout the country, including:

• District Medical Officer-Procedural Obstetrician in the Kimberley WA at Derby Hospital from 2006-2008

• Registrar of Obstetrics at Kaleeya Hospital from 2008-2009

• Manly Hospital in Sydney from 2009- 2010

• Kununurra Hospital from 2010-2016, and

• GP Obstetrician at Swan District Hospital, 2014-2015

He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015. and his Medical Acupuncture accreditation in 2019 as a member of Australian Medical Acupuncture College. Chris is interested in various aspects of general practice, minor surgeries and geriatric medicine, with a special interest in women’s health and antenatal care.

 Billing Notes: Dr Ogwu bulk bills eligible Medicare card holders who are aged under 16 years, over 65 years, antenatal patients up until 6 weeks postnatal and concession card holders. All other patients will be required to pay a private fee for their consultation. Please note iron infusions, procedures, acupuncture, workers compensation and occupational medicine appointments incur private fees regardless of age, pregnancy or concession card status. Consultations, procedures and acupuncture appointments are rebateable for all Medicare card holders.

Paediatrician & Paediatric Allergist

Dr. Benedicta Itotoh

Dr Benedicta Itotoh is a Paediatrician and Paediatric Allergist. She works at WA public hospitals as well as in her private practice. Benedicta trained in Nigeria, Ireland as well as Australia.

Dr Itotoh manages children with allergic diseases ranging from eczema, asthma, allergic rhino-conjunctivitis (hay fever), food allergies / intolerances, eosinophilic oesophagitis, insect bite allergies & anaphylaxis. Dr. Benedicta enjoys keeping up to date with recent advances in allergic diseases and is a member of the Australasian society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy (ASCIA).

Benedicta also see’s patients for developmental conditions including learning difficulties, ADHD, ASD, global developmental delay, and a range of general and behavioural concerns. She offers initial diagnostic assessments as well as ongoing paediatric care for patients until the age of 18 years.

She is now accepting new paediatric patient referrals for allergy testing and general paediatric concerns, however her waitlist for developmental referrals is currently closed.

Pratima New

Paediatric Neurologist & Developmental Paediatrician

Dr. Pratima Gulati

Dr Pratima Gulati has relocated to Perth in March 2023 after practicing in Canada for last five years as a Paediatric Neurologist, trained in general Paediatrics, prior to sub- specialising  in Paediatric Neurology.

She is further trained as a Paediatric Epileptologist from “The Hospital of Sick Kids Toronto” Canada

Her clinical interests with paediatric neurology include complex epilepsy, movement disorders, Neuromuscular disorders headaches, anxiety and tic disorders.

She has expertise in reporting electroencephalogram (EEG’s) and EMG’s. She has also obtained certification from Canada in paediatric neurophysiology in EEG and EMG.

Dr Gulati also has obtained Paediatric min mental health fellowship from Canada and is trained in Griffith 3 for Developmental Assessments.

General Paediatrician

Dr. Chaandini Subramaniam

Dr Chaandini Subramaniam graduated with honours from Moscow Medical Academy, Russia in 2005 and worked as a junior doctor in Malaysia. 

She moved to Australia in 2009, to be closer to her family. She obtained extensive training in neonatal medicine at King Edward Memorial Hospital. 

She moved to Queensland and worked at The Gold Coast University Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital. She continued her Paediatric training across NSW and worked in hospitals across Victoria. She successfully obtained her FRACP Fellowship in Paediatrics and Child Health. 

She has special interest in early infancy, especially colicky babies, sleep-settling and common postnatal issues. She also is keen in gut health, childhood asthma and childhood respiratory tract illnesses. She also has extensive experience in Developmental Paediatrics, especially diagnosing and managing children with possible ADHD, ASD, behavioural issues in young and older children, developmental delays in children and mealtime problems. 

Other than English, she is fluent in Russian, Malay, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam and comes from a rich cultural background. She also trained as a dancer and vocalist as a child. 

She now lives in Perth with her husband and 3 young girls, who are her driving force to continue pursuing excellence in health for children and their families. She is an avid athlete, runner, reader, traveller, and like everyone else, enjoys the beach, sunsets, the movies, and wine. She is a member with Sans Frontiers (Doctors Without Boarders), and one day hopes to work with underprivileged communities.

Emily Huck


Dr. Emily Huck

On Maternity break from 14 February 2023, appointments with Dr Huck are currently unavailable.

Dr Emily Huck completed her medical degree at UWA in 2012 during which she spent 12 months training in Broome and remote Kimberley communities as part of the Rural Clinical School of WA. Since graduating Emily has worked across a variety of medical and surgical specialities at Rockingham General Hospital, Fremantle Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital.

In August 2022, Emily became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and was awarded the Edward Gawthorn Award for achieving the highest clinical exam result in WA for her cohort of trainees.

Emily enjoys all aspects of general practice work and has a particular interest in women’s health, perinatal healthcare, paediatric and early infancy care, breastfeeding medicine, and preventative health care. Currently Emily is working towards NDC Possums accreditation, giving her advanced skills in managing early infancy problems including sleep, feeding and settling issues. She is committed to patient education and empowerment, and believes best health outcomes are achieved through collaborative care.

Outside of work Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, being active and outside in nature, crafting, good wine and travel.

Dr Suzanne Reynolds


Dr. Suzanne Reynolds

Suzanne completed her medical degree in Western Australia in 2009 prior to working at hospitals in Perth, Sydney and rural WA.

She initially trained in pediatrics (Child Health) and prior to finishing training, married and changed to General Practice to pursue family medicine. 

Dr. Suzanne recently enjoyed working in Mount Barker and Denmark before moving back to Perth with a young family in tow.

Suzanne believes family medicine is not just about solving a problem but about sharing the journey and focusing on her patients’ needs and health priorities.

Special Interests:

She takes particular interest in Antenatal care and Child Health. As a post-rural doctor, she enjoys  skin care and small surgical procedures. She has also taken great interest in chronic disease management, and Palliative care, whilst making time to work externally in urgent care.

But she is more thank happy to see you about anything and find the answers!

Personal Interests:

Happily married with three great children, she loves gardening, craft and getting out and exploring. When not out exploring she enjoys her books and good coffee.



Karen Kruit


Karen Kruit

RN | RM | Master of Midwifery | Master of Nursing NP | Endorsed Midwife | Nurse Practitioner
Karen is a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with extensive experience across the continuum of maternity care and has practised in all models of care from high risk tertiary care to community based home birthing. She has practised in both the public and private sectors in WA, in Tasmania and internationally, in the Netherlands and Africa since 1990. It is this background of international professional experience across a wide range of health care services and her experience in clinical care, service management, quality and safety, and a strong academic history that places her well to offer a safe, woman-centred holistic midwifery service.

 Billing Notes: Karen bulk bills all Medicare card holders. Private fees apply for patients who do not hold a Medicare card.


Practice Nurse


Petra is a country girl from South Australia. She is a hospital trained nurse with 30 years experience in General Practices. She also served in the Royal Australian Navy as a Medic. Petra specialists in immunisations. In her spare time, she enjoys a nice glass of red wine while completing crossword puzzles.

Support Staff


Practice Manager


Karen brings many years of experience to the team having worked within GP, Specialist and Medical Imaging clinics in the past. She enjoys working within this industry as she is able to help patients and be a supportive manager for her team. Outside of work, Karen is a proud dog mum who enjoys walks along the beach and spending time with friends by the pool.




Kathy brings a broad range of experience to our team with a background in nursing, personal training, support work and medical administration. She has one grown son, and descibes her happy place as swimming laps and treating herself to a cuppa and cake.
